The lid with locating flange, oval ‘spade' thumbpiece, body with two bands of triple incised lines, maker’s mark of William Scott III, Edinburgh, (fl.1790-1826), (PS18408) to underside of lid, verification marks of George IV and Robert Wright (fl.1825-27) to collar,  40 fl.oz., height 21.1cm
