London Underground Poster Betty Swanwick Smithfield Club Cattle Show. Original vintage London Transport poster advertising the Smithfield Club Cattle Show that took place between December 7-11 1936 at The Royal Agricultural Hall - Design by Ada Elizabeth Edith Swanwick (1915-1989), known as Betty Swanwick features two prize winning horned cows named Hyacinth and George wearing rosettes and sticking their tongues out. London transport logo in bottom right corner. The Smithfield Club Cattle Show was an annual British agricultural show founded in 1799 and was first held at Wootton's Livery Stables in Dolphin Yard, Smithfield, London. The last show was held in 2004 and was the last major livestock show in London. Good condition, creasing, pinholes, minor staining.
