Peter Wheeler (20th century): Whitefriars interest - an engraved glass panel, created by the young artist Peter Wheeler at Kingston College in the 1960s, for a national competition for an installation in the new Coventry Cathedral, wheel engraved with a female jester riding a hobby horse, 83 x 34.75cm, within a teak frame, in good condition with no damage.
* Peter Wheeler worked at Whitefrairs after graduation, as Geoffrey Baxter's assistant. He introduced the first Studio range of low value, high cost glass at Whitefriars in 1969, under Baxter's supervision.
