A J.W. Benson hallmarked silver half hunter pocket watch presented to Sgt. William Thompson by the 2nd battalion The East Lancs Regiment 'as a token of esteem and happy days', Catterick Camp April 1932, the signed white enamel dial having Roman numerals and seconds subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock, the 49mm case by Aaron Lufkin Dennison, Birmingham 1931, the inner case back with the inscription.

Condition: currently in good working order although not sold with any guarantees, the dial has small crack between 11 & 12 o'clock, case has minor surface wear only, front small glass has some surface scratches, hinges good, crown functional, hallmarks all clear.
