Extremely rare United States Black Eagle silver dollar certificate recovered from Mr Tomlin’s body and sent back to his family, the lot shows clear signs of immersion in the North Atlantic and was part of the funds that Mr Tomlin was taking to the US with him, this note was originally sewn in Ernest’s waistcoat.
