A set four hand coloured engraved plates of butterflies from ‘The Aurelian or Natural History of English Insects Namely Moths and Butterflies Together with the Plants on Which They Feed’ (1776). Each mounted in a contemporary frame and glazed.
Including one personally dedicated to Lord Carysfort, and another personally dedicated to Norborne Berkeley from Moses Harris.
Each 32cm x 24cm, mounted in larger silver frames and glazed.
