Continental porcelain model of a mythical beast, decorated in colours and gilt against a white ground, height 27.5cm
The tail has been detached and repaired, leaving a gap at the joint of tail and body. Also, the tip of the tail has been off and re-stuck with an associated loss. There are small chips to the glaze around the hooves.
The horn appears to have been broken and re-stuck and re-gilded.
No further damage or restoration detected.
