India General Service Medal 1854 -95, Perak, correctly engraved D. McCarthy (2), A.B. H.M.S." Charybdis, condition GVF, two D McCarthy's served on Charybdis and were awarded the medal with clasp Perak, this explains why (2) has been engraved on the medal in correspondence with the roll, McCarthy was later transferred to HMS Cormorant, 257 Perak Clasp for HMS Charybdis
