Holmwood. 1920 Commercial cover with KGV 2d cancelled oval "HOLMWOOD / STATION / L.B. & S.C. RY" and L.B. & S.C.R. 2d letter stamp surcharged "3" in red manuscript cancelled by violet circular "HOLMWOOD / 6 JUL 1920 / L.B. & S.C.R." and a London S.E machine. Probably a unique use of this rare 3d on 2d surcharge and an exceptional use of the two types of Holmwood Station handstamps. Photo on Page 52.
