A Grande Sonnerie gilt brass carriage clock with push button repeat,early 20th century, no. 422, in gilt Anglaise Corinthian column case, the recessed base fitted with a selection lever, with white Roman enamel dial with blued steel spade hands, the eight day two train movement ting-tang striking the quarters on a graduated pair of gongs and sounding the hour every quarter hour on the larger, with silvered platform escapement, 6¬in. (15.8cm.) high excluding handle, in the original red morocco leather travelling case with key.
