A CANADIAN MEMORIAL CROSS TO THE NEW ZEALAND ENGINEERS. A Canadian Memorial Cross, engraved to the reverse 60367 Spr H. Galbraith. Sapper Henry Galbraith was born in 1913, the son of James Galbraith and Elizabeth Galbraith of Clydebank in Scotland. Husband to Fonda of Canterbury New Zealand. He died on active service during the Second World War on the 14th August 1941 at the age of 28. He is commemorated at Suva Military Cemetery in Fiji.
