CORFU 1836 - BLUE TRIESTE "Jonia." WITH RED BOXED "Netto di fuora e/Netto di dentro" & WAX "SANITATIS" SEAL; 17 Feb. 1836 E (closed tears around seal) to Venice endorsed "d'Off[ici]o." (Official Mail) with v. fine rare Blue Trieste "Jonia." on the front with no postal rate (charged "15" on reverse), but also having two very fine red boxed Trieste "Netto di fuora e/Netto di dentro" disinfection marks on the reverse (one across join and one with closed tear) beside spectacular red wax seals of the Austrian Consul in Corfu and two Trieste Lazaretto seals ("SIGILLUM SANITATIS TERGESTI").
