Sharjah/Dubai. 1933 (July 10) Indian Trans-Continental Airways Calcutta to Karachi route first flight, printed flight cover franked 9p + 3a, flown from Asansol to Sharjah, carried by Imperial Airways from Karachi with "DUBAI / PERSIAN GULF" arrival c.d.s (July 25) on the front, unclaimed and returned to Howrah, backstamps include "BAHRAIN" (July 13) and "DUBAI / PERSIAN GULF" (Aug 8). A little stained but very rare, very few first flight covers sent to Sharjah. Photo on Page 176.
