An early and unusual Hirado brush pot, early 18th century, the tall cylindrical body finely painted with a towering mountain with trees above houses, the reverse with boats on a lake and below mountainous islands, 33cm
No obvious major faults, to include no cracks, chips or restorations. However, there are a few surface scratches in the glaze throughout the body.
