A Royal Navy officer's dress sword. Early 20th century, the 80cm etched blade with gold PROVED poincon, with crowned Royal Arms, fouled anchor and foliage, regulation gilt brass mounts, guard with crowned fouled anchor, stamped number 1832, with folding side guard, lion head pommel, wire bound white fish skin covered grip, bullion dress knot, in its leather scabbard with brass mounts, engraved D.Burford from CBA, overall length 95cm, in an oilskin sword bag.
