A PAIR OF CHINESE PORCELAIN BLUE AND WHITE TEMPLE VASES, c. late Qing period, with domed cover with Foo lion finial, the vases are painted in blue underglaze depicting dragons chasing the flaming pearl of wisdom, among foliage; glazed blue lines on the cover and body, and unglazed foot rim, under the cover border and inside the rim. Although a pair, interestingly one vase is finished in a crackle glaze and the other isn’t, as photographed. Dimensions: 53cm high including covers approx.
