Quenouault [Charles], London, 3.5cm white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic subsidiaries, brass spade hands, verge escapement, three pillars, engraved balance wheel cover, the inner case pierced and engraved with ho-ho birds, grotesque profiles and a rambling house surrounded by a walled garden, lacquer outer case with a central gilt flowerhead flanked by alternating foliage, 5cm diam overall, c.1760
