A mid 19th century giltwood and gesso wall mirror inset with a Chinese oil on canvas of musicians within a pagoda, in the manner of Tinqua
with pagoda roof top crest and floral bordered frame

Overall in honest untouched condition the gilding is original but now rather rubbed scuffed and dirty, minor small losses and dents around the lower ridge of the roof line at the top, the top left hand scroll has been broken away and re-stuck at some point. The oil on canvas panel is on the original canvas with a little creasing to the top left corner, the paint is dirty with a fine Craquelure running throughout. Original mirror plate now heavily oxidised, minor small losses around the sides and base of the frame
