A nameplate, WELLINGTON, with its SCHOOLS CLASS appendage below, from the Southern Railway V Class 4-4-0 No 902 built at Eastleigh in April 1930 and named after the College in Berkshire founded in 1853 as a living memorial to the Duke of Wellington, becoming BR 30902. A long time St Leonards engine, it finished its days at Nine Elms from where it was withdrawn on 29 December 1962 and sold for scrap to Cohens at Kettering.
