WW1 1917 Imperial German M1898/05 Seitengewehr Butcher Bayonet A very good clean example with 14 1/2 inch single edged blade widening towards the point, with large fuller. The forte marked “Waffenfabrik Mauser AG Obernoorf an”. Back edge with 1917 date. Steel turn up quillon and flash guard to the hilt. Wooden grooved slab grips. Housed in its steel scabbard, this again stamped with the maker's details. Good clean condition.
