Fine pair antique Chinese porcelain Qilin censers - circa 1770

A very fine pair of Chinese porcelain blue enamelled Qilin censers, Qianlong period, circa 1770

On the underside of the creature is an opening and two tube-like incense holders for joss (stick) incense. The smoke from the incense would have come up through the nose and open mouth of the Qilin

They are heavy items and weigh over 6kg before careful packing

There is tiny loss of enamelling -
otherwise in good antique condition
