Imperial German WW1 memorial piece for a young German Field Artillery Officer, presumed KIA during the war. Constructed using a combination of real Mauser bullets (used) and pressed tin Imperial Crown. German National Flags, Cherubs with laurel leaves, etc. With a portrait CDV of the young officer in uniform, some German script to the base but unreadable. (height 23cm). With a WW1 brass 1917 engraved shall case "de la Grand Guerre 1914-1918". (2)
