A fine Japanese silk embroidery, possibly by Nishimura Sozaemon (1855-1935), late Meiji Period (1868-1912), the rectangular panel embroidered with long stitch silk threads depicting two young women illuminated by a paper lantern, one holding a brush and about to write on a sheet of paper, 42cm x 52cm, framed and glazed, with a further silk work picture depicting a maiko, 39cm x 27cm, framed and glazed (2)
