R.M.S. TITANIC: Extremely rare life jacket cork section with handwritten notation reads in part, 'A piece of lifebelt from S.S. Titanic recovered by the Mackay Bennett and landed at Halifax'. In its original shadow box 'Presented by Lieut. G.C. Cleveland of H.M.S Niobe, Royal Canadian Navy who afterwards lost his life in The Great Halifax Explosion.' There are only a handful of fully provenanced complete Titanic life jackets in existence and they are in either private or museum collections.
