Lepine, Paris - French early 19th century 18k cylinder quarter repeating half hunter pocket watch, gilt Breguet style lay-out movement plunge repeat and hammers striking on gongs, ruby cylinder escapement, compensator and parachute, the cuvette signed 'Lepine, H'ger Du Roi á Paris, no. 2428', signed silvered engine turned dial with Roman numerals, outer minute markers and blued steel hands, engine turned case, 63.4gm, 45mm (the movement requires attention)

Movement - the repeat is activated by 'lift and twist' of the stem - when activated appears to be striking correctly when briefly tested; the timepiece is not working at present and will require attention.
Dial - some light marks present - see images.
Glass - light marks.
Hands - matching - see image.
Case - some wear to the engine turning, wear tot he outer case Roman blue numerals, otherwise generally good - see images.
