1753 low mintage Russian silver Krasny Mint Polupoltinnik of Empress Elizabeth (Craig 17a). Obverse: right facing bust of Elizaveta Petrovna with 'Б∙М∙ЕЛИСАВЕТЪ ∙I∙ IМП:I САМОД∙ ВСЕРОС:' around and 'М∙М:Д' below. Reverse: Russian coat of arms - double-headed eagle holding an orb and sceptre with a crown above, 'IП' on either side. The date (1753) appears above with 'ПОЛУПОЛТИННИКЪ ∙' around. Edge: angled milled. Mintage: 426,324. Weight: 6.16g. Diameter: 25.5mm. Grade: F - Fine for issue, dark background tone with lighter higher areas.
