A LARGE CHINESE TURQUOISE GLAZED STONEWARE GUARDIAN LION, MING / QING DYNASTY. The lion seated on a tall plinth with pierced roundels covered in a turquoise glaze leaving the back of the stand unglazed. With Colthurst Collection label. 45cm tall.
Shallow losses around the backs of the ears. With some glaze and shallow chips around the left side of tail, right side of mouth, corner of stand. A chip to the back left base of stand. No signs of repairs.
