An early 18th century Indo-Portuguese ebony, satinwood and red tortoiseshell travelling case, the hinged lid opening to reveal four compartments, the fall front dropping down to reveal an arrangement of seven drawers centred by a nonsuch type mirrored and ivory inset central compartment which pulls out to reveal three 'secret' drawers, on ebonised bun feet, 42cm wide, 30cm deep, 29cm high.
