A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 9581, 1929, from a LNER N2 Class 0-6-2T No 2675 built by Hawthorn Leslie, Works No 3704, in January 1929. Renumbered 9581 in 1946, it became BR 69581. Its earlier sheds were Ardsley and Hatfield but it spent most of its days at Kings Cross from where it was withdrawn in December 1960 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
