There is a good quantity of lots coming up from A MR Drum who was the head of Printing and Engraving for The Irish Revenue department in the 1940s. Some very Interesting items. This is a Lot 686 A very interesting lot pertaining to printing including a large genuine photograph of the Rotary Plate press which was bought by the Irish Govt in 1932 from the Commonwealth bank of Australia and used to print bank notes, Also a sheet of sample bank notes from R Hoe and co Printing company which was printed on the above mentioned press, a Job requirement on govt paper looking for bank note printer which is very interesting (you have to be under 50 so that rules me out) from 1943, another printing machine photograph which may have been purchased by the Irish Govt from France and a copy of the Chabon news from 1937 regarding printing machines. Also two further French catalogues of govt printing machines, Some really interesting unique items. The bank note sample is printed with raised pricing and actual bank note paper.
