A RARE GEORGE III SILVER NOVELTY VINAIGRETTE
by Matthew Linwood, Birmingham 1815, in the form of an ammonite, embossed with a spiral and engraved with an eagle to the base, the gilded interior with a simple pierced grille. 3.8cm wide
The marks are clear. The two hinges work well, and the lid and grille close well. No dents or splits. In generally very good condition.
