An LMS Hawkseye target sign, LOW GILL, from the Lancaster and Carlisle section of the West Coast Main Line, situated at the foot of the Lune Gorge, south of Tebay, the junction for the route to Ingleton. The sign has its original coating of reflective glass Ballotini beads which shines vividly when it catches the light, the only example we have seen which has not been overpainted. The station didn't have totems, so a rare opportunity. (Postage Band: N/A)
