A collection of four Channel Island silver spoons, to include a pair of bright cut Old English pattern teaspoons, maker's mark JQ struck once (Jacques Quesnel I and II, Jersey c.1780-1843), each inscribed with initials 'MDM' to terminal, 5 1/8in. (13cm.) long; Hanoverian pattern soup spoon, maker's mark CWQ, struck once (Charles William Quesnel, Jersey c.1790-1885), inscribed to terminal 'IPC', 7 5/8in. (19.5cm.) long; bright cut Old English pattern table spoon, maker's mark overstruck JLG, London, 1854 (John Le Gallais, Jersey, c. 1847-1873), inscribed to terminal, 8 ¼in. (21cm.), weight 3.7tr.oz. (4)* Condition: CWQ - shallow dents to bowl; JQ pair both with tiny dents to bowls; JLG - flat at the terminal (creased), bowl with dents.
