WWII CENSOR MAIL - BRITISH CENSORS 1939/40: Binder with the collection of international & some local mail with British censor marks/labels. We note 8 & 10 May 1940 envs. from Newcastle to Antwerp which have attracted a "NO SERVICE/RETURN TO SENDER" cachet. Belgium was attacked by Germany on 10 May 1940. Also 3 items of philatelic mail, 2 with the oval "Passed by the British Philatelic Association" mark and the other with the label stating "RETURNED TO SENDER/BY THE CENSOR/ FOR REASON EXPLAINED IN/MEMORANDUM ENCLOSED/IN THIS COVER" (i.e probably contained stamps).
