Dr John Plowman - English ebonised double fusee verge bracket clock with five pillar movement, the foliate engraved back plate signed Henry Jones in the Temple, striking the hour and 1/2 hour on two bells and with outside countwheel, the 6" square brass dial with silvered chapter ring enclosing a matted centre with calendar aperture, within a stepped case with silver coloured foliate mounts, surmounted by a caddy top and silvered handle, 16" high (with pendulum and winding key)
The case is later (20th century), small visible veneer split to the front right corner, the veneer on the top is slightly bubbling with small splits, otherwise in reasonable condition with typical light marks and surface rubbing; the movement is not securely fitted in the case, its wind and ticks when briefly tested, the strike is working but off-line so requires adjustment, the calendar work advances - See images and personal viewing is recommended if possible
