An Empire design plumb pudding mahogany bureau abattant, 19th Century, plain moulded cornice, fall-front frieze opening to pigeon holes, burr veneered front with a weighted mechanism, Bramagh lock, gilt tooled leather inset writing surface, with pigeon holes and drawers, ivory pulls, the lower section with twin doors opening to shelving, flanked by fiddle back mahogany tapered pilasters with bronzed Egyptian busts, plinth, 142cm high, 104cm wide, 43cm deep (three keys).
