A 19th century diamond, pearl and enamel memorial brooch, the central starburst comprising a half pearl and eight single cut diamonds within a blue enamel border, mounted to a rectangular yellow metal plaque with a border surround of seventeen half pearls, 22mm x 17mm, vacant compartment verso, with hinged pin and simple loop fastening, weight 5.4gms (at fault)
One pearl is missing - some pearls do appear to be later, cultured replacements.
