PORT DUNDAS ACID PATENT BOTTLE. 7.7ins tall. Glasgow potters at the Port Dundas factory made, unusual cylinder specifically to hold acid. Bottle looks like thermos f lask but with a wide lip aperture holding a large screw thread stopper. Off white stoneware has name WILLIAM MILLER/ GLASGOW/ ACID (POISON). Excellent condition. Ex Ian McKenzie Collection (sold for 387) & ex Roy Sherwin Collection.
