Henry James Alexander was killed in action with 15th Bn (2nd Birmingham Pals) (No 32659) during the Third Battle of Ypres on 8th October 1917 and with no known grave is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. With copied CWGC, Soldiers Died and MIC, born in Sydney, lived in Islington, landed France 16/8/14, not issued clasp & roses. (Y)
