Two hand worked brass plaques, in the Newlyn style, one centred with a Viking style sailing boat bordered with Celtic inspired foliate scrolls, 69cm diameter, the other with panels of mythical beasts with Celtic inspired knot reserves and a central roundel, 68.5cm diameter

Overall both plaques are in good condition. There is perhaps some minor dents exhibiting from the back of the plaques and at the edge, particularly on the Celtic inspired plaque. On this one there is also a tiny pinprick dent in the centre.
The Viking boat plaque appears to have fared better but generally both are in good condition.
We have found no signature or stamped initials on these plaques.
