A SECOND WORLD WAR PERIOD 1912 PATTERN CAVALRY SADDLE BY CLIFF OF WALSALL. A brown leather cavalry saddle, 1912 pattern with thick felt pad, metal ribs, wooden base and brown leather saddle, stamped in various places, M to the front and with a broad Government issue arrow behind and '22'. The side straps marked with similar arrows and 'Near' and 'Off'' and also 'Cliff, Walsall 1940'. With attached stirrups on straps and a leather pouch with flap and buckle containing a spare horse shoe, with twin strap mountings, apparently unmarked.
