WWI RANGE OF INTERNEE MAIL - mostly on printed 'Prisoners of War' lettersheets inc. 1914 to New York (faults) with censor label on the back and "NO CHARGE FOR POSTAGE/PRISONER OF WAR MAIL/NEW YORK, N.Y." on the front, and 1918 to Germany with ringed "P.C." censor mark on the back; 1917 inwards handmade PC with poem in German ex CLEVE with German and IOM censors; 1919 lettercard to internee ex Brighton with large oval "KN[O]CKALOE, I.O.M." censor mark apparently unrecorded with missing 'O'. Also 1917 OHMS env. to Huddersfield with ½d green pair tied YATE cds with letter written on 'ALIENS' DETENTION CAMP, KNOCKALOE' letterhead, and unused block of four brown 'KNOCKALOE. I.O.M.' labels.
