A SUFFRAGETTE PENDANT BROOCH
made in bright yellow metal and set with peridot, garnet and pearls, the colours of the Suffragette flag. with removable bail so it can be worn as a brooch, diameter 3.3cm, length with bail 4.3cm. Weight 7.3gms
Mount all good, light general wear.
Pearls, all in situ & ok.
Peridot; has some light abrasions to the top facets, these are not eye visible.
Garnets; Purple in colour, one is chipped, from setting, not later damage, only just eye visible. another has an inclusion that has slightly chipped away under a claw, not eye visible.
could you send me a picture of the back of this so I can see how it can be changed from a brooch to pendant. The pin stays in place the bail unhooks from the back of the brooch. Please see condition report images.
Also, has it been tested to see if it is gold?
A; We do not test items, as they do not belong to us. Its is bright yellow metal, from the construction, to the gems it is set with, it cant be anything else. If an item is not hallmarked, I cannot say 'by law' it is gold.
