A pair of good quality 14 bore barrels from a DB sporting gun c 1840, 29½” of alternate damascus and plain twist, stamped on the underside with B’ham proofs and “DAMASCUS”, with gold outlined breeches and wide top rib engraved “Thos. TURNER” in Gothic script, “GUN-MAKER”, and “Halifax” in Gothic script. GC with dark patina overall. £50-60
