FRENCH COLONIES FRANKING TO CUBA; 11 Oct. 1870 E (few stains and tears; mainly on rear) 'p Steamer Anglais' to Santiago de Cuba franked imperf 20c + 40c (marginal) both four margins, slightly overlapped and jointly dotted by a diamond lozenge cancel, French Pointe a Pitre Packet cds and "GUADELOUPE/PAID" cds on front. Very rare destination and franking. Rear with a St Thomas transit cds and a handstruck "1" real local charge made on arrival.
