A sapphire and diamond duette brooch, comprising two detachable components, each claw-set with multiple graduating rows of round-cut sapphires of vivid blue colour, one section featuring a later-added cluster comprising a central old European-cut diamond encircled by six round-cut sapphires of deep blue colour, both sections featuring scrolling motifs in yellow metal with openwork detail, double-pin fittings with a yellow metal brooch conversion mount with a single pin and lever clasp, the reverse of each section engraved ‘Garrard’, yellow metal testing as 14ct, combined measuring approximately 5.1cm x 5.7cm, total weight 29.1 grams.
