A rare 18th or 19th century silver wine taster, possibly German but with indistinct marks, 2 delicate handles with the body of lobed form, the centre embossed with a scene of Neptune recumbent looking over a village with clouds, XRF tests as approx 92.5% pure silver, approx 14cm wide, approx 59.19g gross
