A worksplate, ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS Ltd, NEWCASTLE WORKS, 7593, 1951, from a (GWR) 9400 Class 0-6-0PT No 9456 allocated new to Duffryn Yard on 21 September 1951. It moved in July 1963 to Radyr from where it was withdrawn on 8 April 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Risca. Cast brass, 13"x8½", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
