A LATE 19TH CENTURY MEIJI PERIOD JAPANESE BRONZE FIGURE OF AN ELEPHANT WITH TRUNK RAISED, remnants of ivory tusks (one protruding, the other broken off inside hole, evidence of glue residue), bears cast character / seal mark to underside of belly, height 18cm x length 27cm (Condition Report: other than damage to tucks, generally good condition) IMPORTANT NOTE, This lot contains elephant ivory material.
