AN AFGHANISTAN MEDAL 1878-80 TO A CASUALTY WITH THE ROYAL ARTILLERY. An Afghanistan medal without clasp named to 6239 Dr J. McDonald C/3 R.A. John Mc Donald died on the 1st July 1879 at the age of 19 of Cholera on the return march to India at Tanda (Peshawar) whilst serving with C battery of the 3rd Brigade Royal Artillery. Mounted for display with copied research.
